• Assisted with the reviewing and recalculating of financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Testing of various investments purchased and sold by the entity, verifying its objectives of existence, completeness, and authorization.
• Conducted substantive testing of expenses as a part of statutory audits, verifying accuracy, validity, and compliance by analyzing supporting documents and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Preparation of planning documents and walkthrough for the substantive audit testing.

Control procedures:

• Assessing the design and implementing the key controls.
• Preparation of walkthrough and sample-based testing, checking its effectiveness and compliance.
• Discussion with the client and their SOC team discussing the control gaps and improvements.
• Verifying that the IPE is generated from a reliable system, and it's authorized by personnel, and checking its completeness.

Independence:

• Assisted in performing independence procedures and conflict check procedures for new and existing investments held by the PE clients.
• Collaboration with managers and participation in various independence calls, as well as making up the independence procedures and processes.

Valuation:

• Assisted in the valuation of business securities and intangible assets using approaches such as DCF, income multiplier method, and earning-based method for various private equity clients.
