Deloitte Virtual Volunteering (May, 2020 – February, 2021)

• Prepared study material and delivered virtual lessons in english, math, soft-skills,personal productivity, and self-esteem to develop and empower students from underprivileged communities, increasing their employability prospects by building academic and personality skills. The initiative helped combat the impact of COVID-19 on education.

Co-founder - Moving Forward Charitable Trust, Chennai (Mar 2015–Jul 2016)

Co-founder of a non-profit organization, which focused on two initiatives:

Paani Genie

• Established relationships with manufacturers around the country to create a cost effective product that would suit the Indian environment and users’ needs. The product offered an easier and more efficient water collection method in certain water-stressed Indian villages
• Liaised with various organizations and media outlets such as The Hindu, Chennai Live 104.8 FM radio station and a local television station to create awareness and generate sponsorship opportunities. Over Rs.10,00,00 was raised.

Food for Thought:

• Liaised with restaurants and other NGO's to collect fresh and hygienic food, which was then distributed to the destitute and homeless
• Our organization served as a hub for food collection and distribution during the 2015 ‘Chennai Floods’ relief period, providing up to 5000 meals daily

Goodwill Trust, Chennai (June 2011 – January 2012)

• Volunteered with the organization regularly in the capacity of Sports trainer for children. Introduced sports activities such as football and tennis into the daily curriculum of the underprivileged children
• Helped the children improve their English at a basic level and exercised leadership qualities during my time as coach
