Meshworks Product and Tools Development:

MeshWorks Graphs: Graphs is a graphing tool developed by DEP India. We have successfully developed the software in under 8 monthhs. Meshworks Graphs uses wxPlot an open source project and was heavily customized to suit the requirements. Graphs is a robust software where one can draw a number of graphs /charts simultaneously, either read from a file or by solving simple to complex mathematical equations given by the user. UI of the graphs is very simple and has a rich content .MeshWorks Post is a robust post processing software developed by DEP India.

Post hasBeen developed using Ceetron 3D. This graphic Rich software has all the functions neededIn post processing environment. I was involved in developing tools Such as Calculating the displacement of nodes during the animation and visually be able to show these displacements to the user.
Was also involved in developing a highly computational tool called Cut Section where in an user could Cut the view on the screen according to his comfort and only that particular prospective is visible to the user. Apart from developing the UI I was also part of the I/o team to support and import and export of various formats of files in post and graphs.

RADIOSS I/O :

Meshworks a pre processing Software Developed by DEP is a Huge Software and the
primary product of Meshworks , I have worked on Reading Radioss Files generated by Altair-Hypermesh.
Primary I was responsible for I/o team which allowed Meshworks to read and write any Radioss file .
Process Automation is a innovative tool developed by DEP India. It has the capabilities of Linking
Different tools together with very simple commands . It is the first major project undertaken by me at DEP’.

Bug Fixing and Converting legacy c codes in C++

At HCL have got the opportunity to convert legacy C code to more modern C++ owing to its rich features , we have revamped most of the code due to which the overall time for running of certain modules have been improved and has been effective.

Have also worked to fix various Bug’s in the MFP and added support to new SNMP commands and enhancements related to how the cloning of the MFP’s can be done on one MFP and
transferred to other MFP’s . Worked actively on user permissions and their roles in MFP , gained good understanding onn how the roles and permissions are manged in MFP’s .

Linux Environment:

Have had a good exposure to working in LINUX environment , have good experience in writing codes in Vi editor rather than using 3rd party editors have gaines sufficient knowledge in Linux commands to do everyday tasks such as compiling the codes using linux commands and make Files, have integrated various Linux built in features to the MFP core. Have worked with ssh terminals like Putty and linux’s in built Terminal module to do most of the coding.

Electrical Wires (migration from feature to PLM based modeling):

Electrical 3D Design is an application of 3DExperiece which aids users in designing electrical networks. This application uses feature-based modeling to represent electrical wires. Even though feature-based modeling is fast and memory-efficient, users are not content with it as it lacks lifecycle management. What modern-day clients want is an end-to-end design application from logical plan to physical realization of product, generation of bill of materials and updation. I am a part of a 2-member team providing this solution i.e., design and implementation of a new data model to provide life-cycle management capabilities for electrical wires.

Re-ordering of Routes Inside Spec Tree:

Electrical Routes which are basically features which holds the path information of a cable are created on the fly. Arranging these routes in the Spec tree on the fly was an important behavior Expected by the customers. I have handled the project entirely from conceptualization to execution. We have also made the Interface available to other different users so that they
Can take the advantage of existing algorithms.

CableRouting/Junction Association:

One of the main features of electrical Domain in Catia/3DExperience is the ability to Route
Cables/Conductors taking into consideration user requirement and Also the logical Path computed
automatically. Was Involved in solving Some of the critical issues in this area where in I was able
to understand the routing Model and the algorithms used to define the path of the cable.

Junction Devices is one of the important Design requirements in the marine and aircraft Industries where in the Routing of cables was handled at each junction separately by different users and at different timelines. Initially this ability was lacking in the software , Our team has took up the challenge and have created a new data model to handle this behavior and integrate this into the existing model. This was a huge success in both marine and offshore industries which have added more value to the software.
