Project - Arsenal (Microservices Services Architecture) for Walmart is a product which enables strategic identification of customer information and validates against persisted customer info. Arsenal validates the requested over persisted data in Haze cast (Cache) and routes the request to respective downstream systems up on successful validation. It contains 4 Major Composite services which in turn communicates with multiple Microservices, each has its own responsibilities to determine the resources which are requested by consumers.

Roles and Responsibilties

• Developed and involved in designing of framework and the services. Enhancing the existing microservices based on the requirement.
• Involved in code refactoring to meet the standards by improving code coverage and fixing sonar issues.
• Implemented logging mechanism for application to trace logs using asynchronous logging.
• Coordinated with the Business and Project teams for requirements and planning.
• Worked in Onsite-offsite Global delivery model.
• Developed integration test framework to assure the product to be fault tolerant.
• Maintaining the code in GIT with version management as per each completed feature.
• Active involvement in work break down in to features and user stories as per Agile standards.
• Developed complex business logics as per the business need.
• Coordinated the development and deploying of completed features from lower environments to PROD.
• Maintaining the Hazel cast, the distributed caching solution for the entire framework.

Project - Event Processing Framework for Walmart is capable of processing extremely high volumes of events across highly distributed systems. It incorporates cloud native principles that provide agility, scale and control. It provides a platform to handle challenges around real time data from IOT devices, store register systems and micro service system orchestration. It ensures a platform with continuous integration and delivery at its core. It delivers a self-service experience with integration which our technology counterparts hadn't seen in space.
It is a robust extensible framework which allows capabilities to plug in Producer and Consumer adapters, API, Auditing, Exception handling and Notification. It allows horizontal scaling to accommodate applications/systems and vertical scaling in case of increased load or volumes.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Developed and involved in designing the core processes for event processing which is the core of the framework.
• Involved in developing services to Audit, Exception handling and Notification.
• Developed XSLT supported the transformation process for transformation of data.
• Involved in enhancements of Adapter features such as watchdog. Involved in enhancements and refactoring of the Cache framework which is the core for caching data.
• Involved in transactional API implantation for automated Cassandra connection and operations using spring Cassandra API.
• Involved in implementing various messaging protocol support for the framework such as Kafka.
• Involved in designing the highly dynamic data models, and created dynamic data driven frameworks.
• Involved in fault tolerance and replay service development to ensure zero data loss.
• Involved in unit testing of the entire framework and used Mockito and Power mock API at its best to cover every piece of code.
• Developed and involved in automating the integration test cases execution to test the features of the framework.

Project - EAI2.0 is the next generation EAI solution for Walmart, with an upgrade to the latest integration landscape.EAI2.0 is designed to provide loosely coupled and highly configurable objects, which will address most of the current business requirements and can easily be extended to accommodate any forthcoming requirements with minimal development efforts and testing time. This highly relies on the orchestration framework which is highly driven with Meta- data and is fully controlled by configuration, which will dictate the framework and allows it to execute most of its functions and achieve what is intended. The framework is capable to invoke reusable components which have a specific action to perform, as these are completely abstracted, this can be extended as and when needed to add more functionality and can be configured and invoked by the framework.
