Duties and Responsibilities as ICU Nurse

1. Critical Care and Emergency Response:

  • Delivered specialized care, managed acute cases, and performed life-saving interventions for critically ill cardiac patients.
  • Responded swiftly to cardiac emergencies, including arrhythmias, cardiac arrests, or acute decompensations.
  • Managed emergencies, applied advanced life support, and administered CPR and emergency medications.
  • Administered high-alert medications, inotropic drug infusions, and blood transfusions.
  • Provided post-operative care for patients who have undergone Coronary Angiography (CAG) and Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA).
  • Managed advanced procedures such as endotracheal intubation,trachesotomy, central venous catheter insertion, and arterial line placement.


2. Advanced Procedures and Treatment:

  • Performed Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) and Therapeutic Plasma Exchange (TPE).
  • Managed IV infusion, PICC line, and CVC; performed EJV line, Ryles tube, and Foley catheter insertions.
