Monitor in-process quality at all production stages to ensure products meet drawing, specification, and customer requirements.
Perform regular inspections (visual, dimensional, and functional) during manufacturing to detect defects at an early stage.
Ensure process adherence to SOPs, control plans, and quality standards (ISO / IATF / company norms).
Identify quality issues, deviations, and non-conformances, and initiate immediate corrective actions.
Coordinate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve in-process quality problems.
Conduct root cause analysis (Why-Why, Fishbone, 8D) for internal and customer-reported defects.
Implement and verify corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to avoid recurrence of issues.
Maintain and update quality records, inspection reports, rejection data, and traceability documents.
Support customer handling activities, including customer complaints, inspections, and quality discussions.
Prepare and submit customer reports such as 8D, PPAP, deviation approvals, and corrective action status.
Coordinate customer visits and audits, ensuring proper explanation of processes and quality controls.
Monitor rejection trends and PPM, and drive continuous improvement actions.
Ensure training and awareness of operators on quality requirements and defect prevention.
Follow up on containment actions and verify effectiveness at line and customer end.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, process stability, and customer satisfaction.
