- Supported investment strategies within the special situations department in the treasury focusing on opportunities in IPO, open offers, OFS, buybacks, fundamental long/short equities and unlisted markets.
- Contributed to fund performance by analysing a small-cap EPC pre-IPO stock that listed at a 8% premium, enhancing fund returns.
- Generated hedged delta short position on overvalued equity that I identified and analysed would miss earnings expectations (missed EPS by -93%)
- Created a sell report on a listed equity that was invested at IPO that in my view was expensive at the current price, recommended to offload shares as lock-in period concluded. Fell -21.24% from the date of my internal report to meet the target, afterwhich the sell rating was lifted.
