• Inspect all components, parts, and materials for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications and standards.
• Verify that all components match the design and engineering specifications.

Assembly Process:

• Follow the assembly instructions and drawings provided by the Research and development (R&D) team.
• Assemble the machine components systematically, starting with the base and building up.
• Pay close attention to alignment, fit, and proper fastening of parts.
• Use calibrated tools and torque wrenches to ensure correct assembly.

Maintenance of Special Purpose Machine for Medical Devices:

• Preventive Maintenance:
  
• Establish a preventive maintenance schedule based on the manufacturer's recommendations.
• Regularly inspect and clean the machine to prevent contamination.
• Lubricate moving parts as needed and replace consumable components according to the maintenance plan.
• Routine Inspections:
• Conduct routine inspections to identify wear and tear, loose fasteners, or signs of malfunction.
• Address minor issues promptly to prevent major breakdowns.

Calibration and Recalibration:

• Regularly calibrate the machine's sensors and measurement devices to maintain accuracy.
• Document calibration records to ensure traceability.

Machine Assembly and Installation:

• Oversee the assembly and installation of SPMs on the production floor.
• Ensure that machines are correctly calibrated and aligned for optimal performance.

Maintenance and Repair:

• Establish a maintenance schedule to ensure that SPMs operate reliably.
• Conduct routine maintenance activities, including cleaning, lubrication, and parts replacement.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems and perform necessary repairs.

NPI Model Leader:

• Overall responsibility for the NPI process.
• Strategic planning, decision-making, and project oversight.
• Ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Documentation and Standardization:

• Develop and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Ensure that processes are standardized and followed consistently.
• Project Management:
• Develop and manage the NPI project plan.
• Ensure that the project stays on track, meets timelines, and adheres to budget constraints.
• Workplace Design and Layout:
• Design efficient and ergonomic workspaces that optimize the use of space and minimize worker fatigue.
• Ensure that tools, equipment, and materials are easily accessible to workers.
