• Assisted in preparation of production cost quotations by aiding with estimates of equipment, material and labor costs.
• Handled client communications and relayed the requirements to head engineer for manufacturing.
• Ironed out variables such as logistics, bank payments, documentation for hassle-free delivery of consignment.

• Having worked in the Design Department in the previous competition year, the design leads and I foresaw the designs of the designed parts of the car before approving them for manufacturing.
• The routine duties also included collaborating with various departments such as finance and management to ensure that the theoretical efforts of the design team are not hindered due to fiscal reasons.

• As one of the design team leads, my duties included designing the assigned part as well foreseeing that the other team members follow suit.
• Along with the other design teams, I checked and approved the submitted designs by various departments such as Suspension, Braking etc. before finalizing them and submitting for manufacturing.
• My personal duties are as follows:
• Researched drawings of characters and environmental elements for inspiration.
• Anticipated design issues and proved to be proactive in developing effective solutions.

My duties included the following:

• Learning & Researching about the concepts of steering.
• Designing and validating the steering geometry to determine the parameters such as steer arm angles, Toe angle, Steer arm length.
• After finalization of the geometry, the design and validations of the actual parts came. These parts were the Steer arms, Steering wheel, Rack & Pinion, Steering column.
