Ecological and Landscape Restoration –Jorhat District, Assam

• Designed and Implemented a strategic ecological and landscape restoration plan in the flood plane areas of Jorhat District Assam.
• Utilized GIS mapping, Locous map and GPS techonology to segment the plantation site into ecological zones, ensuring site-specific native species selection for restoration.
• Conducted species suitability assessments to determine appropriate propagation methods(direct seedling,vegitative cuttings or sapling transplantaqtion ) based on environmental conditions.
• Established a nursery near the plantation site to cultivate native saplings, enhancing survival rates, and promoting local community participation in restoration efforts.
• Coordinated with field workers and field coordinators to ensure efficient task management, workflow alignment, and daily monitoring of plantation activities.
• Maintained daily records, updated field data, and managed plantation registers for project documentation and reporting.
• Performed plant density assessments to evaluate survival and mortality rates, enabling adaptive management and improved restoration outcomes.
• Focoused on biodiversity conservation, carbon sequestration,and habitat restoration,intigrating scietntific methodologies with traditional ecological kmowledge.

Developed People's Biodiversity Registers (PBR) for Sompat and Panipat districts under the Haryana State Biodiversity Board, conducting extensive field surveys to document local flora and fauna.
Conducted seemunity engagement programs to educate villagers about Biodiversity Management Committees (BAC), their role in conservation, and sustainable biodiversity management.

Collaborated with Divisional Forest Officers (DFD) and other government officials to verify and validate biodiversity

data for official records.

Preparation of Wildlife Conservation Plan for Lugma Ukwa Mine, & Sitapetore, including ecological assessments, freld visits, and flora fauna surveys to mitigate environmental impact.

Conducted tree enumeration and socio-economic surveys for India's largest hydroelectric power plant-Etalin Hydroelectric Plant (Arunachal Pradesh) to assess ecological engact and community dependency on forest resources
