My research focuses on the synthesis and study of nanomaterials such as fluorescent metal nanoclusters (MNCs), nanoparticles, nanosheets, and nanocomposites MNCs, in particular, bridge the gap between individual metal atoms and plasmonic nanoparticles, offering atomic precision During my PhD, I synthesized atomically precise Au, Ag, Cu, and alloyed nanoclusters, explored their optical properties, sensing capabilities, and electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) activity Notably, I developed highly luminescent Au₁₄ NCs aggregates using Zn²⁺ ions via aggregation-induced emission (AIE) I also demonstrated the enhanced HER performance of bimetallic AuCu NCs compared to monometallic Au NCs ones Additionally, I studied how electron-donating ligands influence the photoluminescence and HER activity of Ag13 nanoclusters
