Worked on various features and enhancements in the network security team - Flow.

• Currently working on the complete design and development to support network Security for kubernetes clusters. Handling the end to end workflow from onboarding a kubernetes cluster to allowing a user to create networkPolicies for not only kubernetes entities but also virtual machines and virtualization of flows using hubble.
• Working on a company wide quality initiative to increase the scope for developer testing by integrating with various python infrastructure tools such as PTest and PytestBDD.
• Designed and developed a highly sought after feature - zero threat security model that ensures Virtual Machine protection throughout their lifecycle. Collaborated with cross-functional teams extensively to narrow down on the design and deliver the feature.
• Spearheaded the effort to reduce memory consumption and improve performance for the entire product. Was able to achieve a 75% reduction in memory and close to 80% enhancement in performance.
• Was part of the team that worked on visualization support for stack convergence initiative which integrated Open Virtual Network in order to write flows for VLAN and VPC Virtual Machines.
• Designed and developed a tool that helps customers determine when it is safe for them run traffic to their Virtual machines when these machines are part of security policies. Delivered this project successfully under tight deadlines while maintaining excellent communication with stakeholders throughout the process.
• Was part of the team that developed an end to end support of network security for VMs that are being failed over as part of Disaster Recovery or Cross Cluster Live Migration. Worked on the end to end design and development for both the backend logic and V4 APIs.
• Worked on multiple high priority and critical oncalls and had an opportunity to directly interact with various customers throughout this process.

• Worked on increasing the memory for various services running the management place and the data plane, which was critical to address various high profile customers using the product at high scale. Collaborated with multiple cross functional teams and ran multiple rounds of tests and validations in order to prevent a global Out of memory.
• Worked on the root cause analysis and fix for various release blocker bugs.
