  • Key Responsibilities across the Tenure: -
  • Production Planning: As a Head of Engineering Assembly Operations, chairing weekly
  • Engineering meetings to analyse the manufacturing downtime and breakdowns
  • Presentation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); preparing monthly Equipment’s and Machines availability as per monthly production plan and formulating long term capacity plan based on various supply chain and sales inputs
  • Control inventory and cost control programs to make the temporary Jig’s and fixture for smooth Production
  • Conduct meetings with Customer/ Chinese ODM to improve the new products
  • Manage the stabilization of NPI transitions: evaluate in-process quality data and drive corrective action as required to maximize product manufacturability and to mitigate business risks
  • Negotiate with manufacturers and suppliers to meet the company and customer’s expectations
  • Work closely with other department from Manufacturing, Engineering, Logistics, Planning and others
  • Participate in programs aimed at reducing production cycle-times, manufacturing defects and product costs
  • Balance line, analysis for Cycle time and Takt times
  • Characterization and validation of new equipment and fixtures for introduction to the production floor
  • Performance of process analysis, DOE, PFMEA, line balancing and capacity modelling
  • Coordination with Production Supervisor to coordination with Group Leaders to continuous improvement for QCDMS (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Morale, Safety)
  • Coordinate quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize cost
  • Analyze production process to improve latent, risk defects
  • Design and improve for tools, fixtures, machines, automation for smooth production

  • Production Control & Management: Supervising and controlling Engineering activities and to ensure timely fulfilment of orders; responsible for attaining all aspects of production operation including safety, scheduling, quality, and team development in assigned areas
  • Material Management: Responsible for planning, materials analysis, delivery confirmation and on time delivery of raw materials to meet production plan
  • Cost Reduction: Supporting cost reduction activities based on work-out results, making design change proposal to ODM, methods and deliver equipment improvement
  • Process Enhancement: Executing modifications and introduced new technologies to ensure speed up of products manufacturing as per specifications & quality attributes in line with customer's needs and expectations
  • Rejection Management: Achieving minimum rejection through rejection analysis on daily basis and judiciously deploying the resources to optimize yield and achieve production targets within defined time and cost parameters
