- Overseeing commercial operations for 700KT/month supply of feedstock (Naphtha, PX4, MEG, Reformate) to Reliance captive sites, and the distribution of motor spirit and high-speed diesel to Reliance Retail Group on the East and West coasts of India.
- Handling Time charter and voyage charter vessels.
- Overseeing commercial operations for LPG imports from the US and AG regions.
- Managing commercial operations for Naphtha imports for captive sites during shutdowns at the RIL Jamnagar refinery.
- Releasing of 90-day feedstock rolling plan for captive sites to maintain optimal inventory and ensure continuous plant operation, minimizing slowdowns or shutdowns.
- Issue voyage instructions and LOIs to ship owners, provide loading instructions to cargo suppliers, and continuously track ship voyages.
- Plan bunkering for time-chartered vessels, manage stowage based on draft restrictions at various disport locations, handle monthly charter hire payments, and conduct off-hire calculations and settlements.
- Conduct quarterly reviews of time charter vessel performance in accordance with the charter party contract.
- Coordinate with PSU oil companies for the clearance of nominated vessels from Sikka port and ensure RightShip vetting for FOB lifting of 150KT/month of MSBS6 and HSDBS6 from the RIL Jamnagar refinery.
- Calculate, negotiate, and settle demurrage payments.
- Liaise with Protection and Indemnity clubs and the legal team to resolve conflicts involving vessel owners, cargo buyers, and sellers.
- Completed a four-month training program with RIL's elite supply and trading group, which manages the world's largest refinery complex in Jamnagar, India.
- The training covered various aspects of oil and product management, including economic planning and scheduling, physical trading, operations, risk management, strategic business development, and chartering.
