Why?

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, we have all faced many challenges. However, I utilized this time to contemplate my aspirations and ambitions. I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to pursue one of my passions during this period, which involved working with dogs. I completed professional courses on dog obedience and training and had the privilege to train a few dogs.


I was able to :

  • Collaborated with fellow trainers to develop new strategies and approaches to train
  • Offer guidance on selecting suitable equipment such as leashes, collars, and harnesses that promote proper handling techniques while walking or training dogs.
  • Impart valuable knowledge on nutrition and exercise routines to clients, contributing to overall canine health improvement.
  • Enhance dogs'' obedience levels by implementing customized training programs tailored to their specific needs.


This experience enabled me to learn from some of the most adept trainers in the country. I take pride in myself for taking this step forward and using the pandemic as a chance for personal development.

Key Projects Undertaken

  • Defining 'North Star' under the global CSR pillars for DHL India's CSR strategy. This initiative was carried out with the help of a CSR consultant and the committee, which enabled DHL to define key thematic approaches for investments under the globally mandated CSR themes.
  • Get Airports Ready for Disaster' (GARD) program - Conducting media events as a part of DP DHL's global partnership with the U.N. for the 'Get Airports Ready for Disaster' (GARD) program. The events were conducted in coordination with the regional communications team at the inaugural workshop at Guwahati, followed by Chennai.
  • Employee Engagement/Volunteering program - Conducting various pan-India employee volunteering initiatives with NGO partners under the Employee Engagement/Volunteering program. DHL also published an annual volunteering calendar, resulting in a year-on-year increase of 15% in employee volunteering.
  • DHL Asia Cup-Being a part of a three-member team responsible for the India contingent at DHL's Regional football and cheerleading tournament, DHL Asia Cup. As part of the role, the team built an internal communication campaign to drive participation and employee engagement across communication mediums within DHL's network.
