As an structural I had supported the team to deliver water infrastructure projects by doing the initial assessment of the incoming information, analysing the structure against possible laod combination, ensuring the efficient and optimised design considering the environmental impact and sustainability throughout the design phase.
I have worked on the design and analysis of different water structural elements/ structures such as pumping stations, retaining walls, reservoirs, water treatment plants etc.
Currently I'm working on the Lower Risk Trah Screen Project which makes a significant impact to protect the communities and infrastructure against surface water flooding across the different regions in UK, I am responsible to review the incoming informations which includes initial need assessment document for existing asset, understanding the surveys, buildability statements, ecology report, existing design based on the condition of the asset conclusion is drawn whether to replace with new, retain or modify the existing asset, after r the assessment is complete I prepare the outline design, Technical reports, Designers Risk Assessment (DRA) document of the asset and coordinate with the BIM to get the drawings and model ready as per the quality standards agreed with the client. Having regular communication verbal and written with the UK team and internally.
Multidisciplinary co-ordination with different teams involved e.g Planning, Hydraulic Performance Check, Heritage, Landscape, Arboriculture for the efficient flow of information and timely submissions.
