  • Accountabilities- Materials and Process
  • Having Exposure to New Product development and qualification of Reinforcement (Glass, Carbon, Hybrid, Carbon planks), Liquids (Resin, adhesive, Coating) and core (Balsa, PET, RPET)
  • Assisting composite mechanical team on the coupon level manufacturing and testing (Static and Fatigue) of new products to derive the technical specification
  • Conducting process and mechanical tests according to the respective material specifications adhering to the LM control instructions and analyzing the results with reference to the respective technical requirement
  • Perform the Infusion test to find the resin consumption per ply (CPT Test), one of the main tests for the Glass fabric to determine the resin consumption
  • Involved in VARTM process trials of new blade profile in collaboration with process team on the permeability requirement
  • Responsible for technology transfer of process/test methods implementation at supplier end

  • Responsible for manufacturing core qualification test specimen like CDP, CSP, infusion density, DCB, face wrinkle
  • Responsible for manufacturing of carbon planks test specimen for assembled T2, ILSS, 4PB, DCB, Fatigue, and T1

  • The responsibilities include procurement of raw materials and consumables for lab manufacturing activities, Material Planning as per monthly projection, (raising PO in workflow process system and clearing supplier invoice)
  • Responsible for the Material to procure from Denmark lab to India lab and coordinate with sourcing team
  • Responsible for procuring material from Plant Store to R&D lab.
