My career in professional services began more than 30 years ago as a Civil Engineer. Since then I have undertaken several leadership positions with different reputed organisations across water & infrastructure sector.
Project - Construction of Kalaburagi Water supply project which includes WTP, 14 kms of RWP, Intake and a water distribution network of 970 kms. Rehabilitation of existing overhead tanks and construction of 13 new overhead tanks.
Project - Construction of 500 MLD drinking water treatment plant at Gandharbpur, Raw Water Intake Plant of 1000 MLD at Meghna River and Raw water pipeline (RWP) of 21 kms. The plant will treat water from Meghna River to provide drinking water to around 4.3 million Dhaka Residents. The project is executed under Dhaka Environmentally Sustainable Water Supply Project (DESWSP).
Funded by Asian Development Bank (ADB), French Development Agency (AFB), European Investment Bank & Bangladeshi Govt. CLIENT: Dhaka Water Supply & Sewerage Authority (DWASA).
Duties : Handling of entire construction to the satisfaction of client and contract requirements as per project plan.
Planning for the execution of civil in coordination with Mechanical and Electrical works.
Contractual correspondence & meetings with the Client, Consultants & Sub-contractors.
Ensure the relationship with the Sub-contractors for deployment of manpower, machinery, equipments, etc. Monitoring the progress of the project as per planning.
Project - 1C2 Infrastructure Project at Diyar Al Muharraq involving deep foul sewer line, storm water, portable water, irrigation water network, related 11KV Electrical cables with substation and road work. CLIENT: DIYAR.
Duties: Act as the company's representative with the client, consultants and selected subcontractors during project execution.
As the most senior manager on the project, responsible for providing EPC services to the delivery of critical infrastructure in Diyar Al Muharraq Project.
Project - 40 MLD Sewage treatment plant based on Sequential Batch Reactor (SBR) Technology, including pumping station of 80 MLD capacity for Gulbarga City, Karnataka.
CLIENT: Karnataka Urban Industrial development and finance Corporation (KUIDFC).
Act as prime point of contact for the Project with the client and consultants, including progress reporting, safety, financial recommendations and quality control and design modifications. Overall responsibility of delivering and handing over the project successfully and safely to the client in accordance with the contract requirements.
Projects - a) Sanitary Wastewater Treatment Plant (SWTP-9) for Jubail Industrial City. b) Industrial Wastewater treatment plant IWTP-8 (expansion and upgrade project) and upgradation of PS 56 Sanitary wastewater pump station.
CLIENT: MARAFIQ (Power and Water Utility Company for Jubail and Yanbu).
Duties: Provide daily leadership to the PMC Project Construction team, this team include AREs, each of major engineering discipline. Ensure that the contractor executes the work in accordance with the contract. Supervise AREs. Preparing and administrating contracts as per FIDIC requirements.
Liaise directly with the contractor's representative on site regarding all matters related to execution of the works, changes, unidentified risks, potential delays and other matters that might impact completion of work in accordance with the contract. Enable review of contractor payments due.
Enable review of progress according to contract schedule by CMT. Enable review of quality management by CMT. Maintain a daily site dairy of on-site activities. Any issues that may, in the opinion of the RE, impact the completion of works in accordance with the contract.
Projects - 1) Nov 02 - Feb 04 : Construction of Al Madinah Sewage treatment plant 120,000 m3/day capacity. Activated Sludge Process (ASP) with extended aeration and bio phosphorous removal.
2) Feb 04 - Dec 06 : Upgradation of Madinah Sewage treatment plant to 300,000 m3/day capacity including tertiary treatment and pumping station. Activated Sludge Process (ASP) with extended aeration and bio phosphorous removal.
3) Dec 06 - Apr 08 : Yanbu sewage treatment plant 60,000 m3/day capacity, Activated Sludge Process (ASP) with extended aeration and bio phosphorous removal.
4) Apr 08 - Apr 10 : Portable water reservoir of 250,000 m3 capacity, STRATEGIC WATER RESERVOIR. CLIENT: Madinah Water & Sewage Authority.
Approved Project Manager by Ministry of Water & Electricity, Al Madinah Region. Evaluate, select, and adapt construction management and control techniques, procedures, and criteria to suit job tasks, and devises and implements solutions to problem encountered. Monitors progress of construction against the program, and take steps to ensure that the program is achieved.
Projects - 1) July 99 - Jan 01 : West Makkah sewage treatment plant 120,000 m3/day capacity, Activated Sludge Process (ASP) with extended aeration and bio phosphorous removal.
2) Jan 01 - Nov 02 : North Jeddah sewage treatment plant 240,000 m3/day capacity, Activated Sludge Process (ASP) with extended aeration and bio phosphorous removal.
CLIENT: Ministry of Environment, Water & Agriculture.
Dexterously looked after the construction process programming and interconnecting pipelines. Daily activities preparing drawing and getting approval. Meticulously managed the biological treatment of sewage water and its use for irrigation and disposal into sea.
Projects - 1) June 93 - Feb 97 : Hail water treatment plant (WTP) 100,000 m3/day capacity. 2) Feb 97 - July 99 : Al Bakriya (Qassim) water treatment plant (WTP) 50,000 m3/day capacity.

Played a stellar role in the construction of filtration building and pipe networks from deep wells to plant and interconnecting pipelines. Involved in the complete treatment of deep well water and supply to city.
Project - Nerul new Bombay railway station cum commercial complex. CLIENT: Konkan Railway.
