Projects

Seismic Resilience Study of a tall RC Building by retrofitting., Behavioral study of a tall RC building located at Hattiban Nepal affected during 2015 Gorkha Earthquake. Structural behavior study by performing Push Over & Time History Analysis on the building. Comparison of various retrofit schemes with the already retrofit scheme by Vintech Consultants by use of Fragility curves, Capacity Spectrum Method, and Discrete Probability Matrices. Comprehensive Design of a Framed RC Building, Designed a framed RC structure & performed a comparative analysis in 2D & 3D. Organized a comparison of various design methodologies used & its effect on structural behavior, cost & stability of a structure according to IS codes. Worked on STAAD Pro & studied the effect of brick walls as shear infill walls on the lateral stiffness of the frame. Studied the effect of accidental loads on a framed structure, its analysis & design (as per EURO codes). 3-D Printing in Construction, Researched the current challenges in the construction sector & the scope of 3-D printing in future. Compiled a review report on the research done on '3-D Printing in construction' under the guidance of Dr. Rafat Siddique, Senior Professor at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala.
