Title: Influence of Ti addition on the inclusion characteristics in Al-killed steel  

Investigated the formation and evolution of inclusions as a result of Al and Ti additions 

Analyzed the evolution of inclusions' composition, size, and morphology, and identified the mechanisms of inclusion evolution

Simulated the formation of Al-Ti-O complex inclusions by carrying out laboratory-scale deoxidation experiments in a high-temperature vertical tube furnace

Collected and prepared samples after the completion of deoxidation experiments, and characterized them using SEM-EDS, ICP spectroscopy, and LECO

Investigated the variation of inclusion composition, size, and morphology in deoxidized steel

Conducted thermodynamic modeling for transient reactions using FactSage

• Title: High-temperature sulfidation and oxidation resistance of thermal diffusion coatings in Steels
• Review the formation of the Alumina-Aluminide thermal diffusion layer protecting the steel substrate against High-temperature sulfidation and oxidation conditions in coal and gas fires power plants
• Enhancing understanding of thermodynamic and kinetic processes in high-temperature oxidation and sulfidation
• The mechanism of formation and development of thermal diffusion layer and the performance of thermal diffusion coatings under high-temperature corrosive atmosphere

B.Tech Project

• Title: Failure analysis of a bike piston and its behavior against corrosion
• Investigated the failure of bike piston focusing on its susceptibility to corrosion and its impact on performance, Visual inspection and Microstructural analysis reveal degradation of surface and grain boundary properties,
• The stress due to the cyclic loading and abrasion was identified as the major cause of the piston failure

• Explored the phenomenon of diffusional creep in materials subjected to high temperature and low stress conditions
