Lumina Concrete is an innovative type of concrete that uses optical fibers to allow light transmission while maintaining the strength and durability of conventional concrete. In this project, materials such as cement, sand, fine aggregates, and optical fibers were used to develop a light-transmitting concrete model and study its performance. The experiment successfully demonstrated that light could pass through the concrete without affecting its structural integrity, and the project was presented as an achievement at National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur.
