I’ve led the QA Team for automation and manual testing. I’ve designed the Automation Framework from scratch in Selenium using Hybrid framework (TestNG and Maven) for the Regression Suites and for Smoke Testing.
I’ve designed and developed the Automation Suites for Performance Testing using JUnit and JMeter and have also developed scripts for Database Testing. I’ve also laid down the QA Guidelines and Build Acceptance criteria. We follow Agile Methodologies. We also test the Web Services and conduct Security Testing using IBM AppScan.

User Activity and Reporting Module is an enterprise level product which will make the customer comfortable in reporting the activity of the organization infrastructure activity to their required counterparts. It is a security application which keeps track of the logs of different applications and makes the customer aware of the incidents by reducing the infrastructure deployment anomalies. UARM reduces the learning curve by providing the out of the box reports, alerts and correlation rules to customers.
I’ve laid out the guidelines to be followed for QA. I’ve automated the validations for Integration Mappings, Correlation Rules validation, Hierarchical Tagging of reports validation etc. using QTP\Visual Basic which was later migrated to Selenium (WebDriver, TestNG). This has helped us to bring down the release execution timelines. I’ve received an “Above and Beyond” award for the same. Apart from the functional testing we also perform Integration Testing, Performance Testing and Endurance Testing.
Apart from the Product QA we also have Monthly releases of Integration updates and Log Sensors which are hosted on the Akamai Server from where end users can download the latest updates via subscription. My responsibilities with this team is right from planning and distributing the work and to ensure that the Monthly releases go smoothly and is completed on or before time and ensure that the final subscription packages been hosted on the Akamai Server and are available to customers. I also collaborate with the documentation team to ensure the timely delivery of the Monthly Product Release Notes and to get it updated on the CA support site.
I was also involved in designing the correlation rules for Identity and Access. Apart from the aforesaid I am involved with the Product Management to make the product more robust and have given lot of inputs. Product management has accepted couple of features in the product that I have suggested and the same has been incorporated into the product. I’ve received an “Above and Beyond” award for the same.

This project involves detecting Operating System vulnerability and application vulnerability & the remediation of the conceded ones. Scope of project covers the analysis of vulnerabilities in various operating systems like Microsoft Windows, Red Hat, Sun Solaris etc.
I was instrumental in automating over 80% of the Test Cases using QTP. Right from validating the Detection Profiles, Remediation Profiles and the signature creation for the same and automatic installation of numerous patches which facilitated in bringing down the release time.
