• Projects:
• Customer Order Transparency: Customer order transparency was designed to give customers a more real time data of their order status on the client website. Previously handled by the different carriers, now showing on the client website. And notify the customer whenever there’s an update on their order status. Responsibilities: Designed, developed, and implemented readable, well documented, and webmethods services. ESB services designed to retrieve the tracking information from various carriers using sftp connections and file polling to process the files and then publish the events and share with a restful API to display the details on the front end. Service responsible for sending customers notifications Email/SMS/Push with the latest tracking information and a link to the live tracking/order details. Developed reusable, testable, and efficient services. Created development roadmaps, mockups. Used JMeter to do stress testing and load testing for ESB Services.
• Customer Order Curb Side Picking: Customer order picking curb side picking was designed to adapt to the COVID times. Customers pick up their order without having to enter the store/be in contact with anyone. Responsibilities: Designed, developed, and implemented readable, well documented, and webmethods services. ESB services designed to communicate the order and customer information to the third-party vendor in charge of informing the store associate of the customer tracking information. Service responsible for sending text messages to the customer with the link to update their ETA. Developed reusable, testable, and efficient services. Created development roadmaps, mockups.
• Warehouse picking: Warehouse picking is a process designed to pick off totes, containers in the warehouse by the automotive robot systems. Responsibilities: Designed, developed, and implemented readable, well documented, and webmethods services. ESB Services exposed as SOAP web services for the warehouse system and communicate with the vendor operating the robot systems using REST APIs. Developed reusable, testable, and efficient services. Created development roadmaps, mockups.
• Store Ops - Back of the House Back of the House is an application designed for store operations like transfers, receiving, inventory adjustments, customer order fulfilment etc. Responsibilities: Designed, developed, and implemented readable, well documented, and webmethods services. Developed reusable, testable, and efficient Webmethods Services. Developed and maintained the GO APIS exposed to the front end as RESTful APIs. In charge of the middle layers both GO and ESB webmethods. Created development roadmaps, mock-ups.
• Special Order Repository Special Order Repository (Or SOR) is an application designed to set up the SKU properties and availability for the different regions of the stores in the company. Responsibilities: Designed, developed, and implemented readable, well documented, and web methods services. Used different types of adapters services, Stored procedures communicating to the DB2 database for the crud operations. Developed reusable, testable, and efficient Web methods Services. Created development roadmaps, mock-ups.
• EALWEB: EALWEB is a browser-based application and authentication handled at each functionality level. Operational efficiency achieved with a new application menu, simplified navigation across functionalities, single page for multiple pop-ups. Responsibilities: Developed an application for handling invoices, credits in book sales Deployed this tool for use cases coming from different accounts within Wiley Java, Spring, JSF, jQuery, Hibernate.
• OOEWEB: OOE (Online order entry) is a part of Wiley’s fulfilment system and deals with subscription & order creation for various product types and order types. Responsibilities: Learnt requirement, design, code development and unit level of testing Worked on the OOEWEB tool as a member of the development team. Modified the tool as per client’s requirement for every release.
• Pandesco - Door Sharp: Door Sharp is a cloud-based channel management system that blends industry best practice KPIs, big data insights and daily operational interactions for a best in breed solution for apparel brands. It helps them to measure, monitor and interact with all of their sales and distribution channels. Responsibilities: Develop, test, and implement new software programs. Design and update Software application, User interfaces. Development of technical specifications and plans. Was part of the design and development of the tool. Used Angular 2, Spring Boot, Rest Webservices, Azure Cloud and SQL for the development.
