Responsibilities

Lead product strategy, vision and roadmap for JioMagnum ( a growth analytics and marketing platform) and Instreamo ( a video ad insertion platform)

Lead a team of 2 PMs, work with 50 member engineering team across both the products

Drive product marketing, customer onboarding, and customer engagement initiatives

JioMagnum

Built a SaaS platform enabling digital/app first customers like JioMart, JioGames etc. to track their user analytics and drive growth marketing initiatives for retention and monetisation

Key platform features

  • Analytics: Custom dashboards, ML-generated targeted cohorts, funnel tracking, trends monitoring, campaign reporting etc.
  • Campaign: GenAI based campaign creation, A/B testing, Rich media formats, Multiple channel support (Push notifications,SMS, Email, RCS, In-app pop-ups and Native display
  • Multi platform support: Client SDKs to support enagagement on Mobile, CTV, Web, Set top box etc.

  • Onboarded 15+ apps in last one year, Ingesting 1bn+ user behaviour events per day, creating 200+ daily campaigns with Avg. delivery rate of 85%, campaign CTRs of 0.5 to 3%
  • Helped apps to directly/indirectly increase their MAU by Avg. 8%and Avg. session duration by 15%

Instreamo

Built a SaaS platform enables OTT publishers and content distributors to manage their Live/VOD/Linear channels and insert video ads in realtime delivering buffer free, adaptive bit rate experience

Key features across modules

Channel orchestration: Simple 3 step provess to configure source streams, preferred Ad network (JioAds, Google Ad manager, pubmatics etc.) to generate ad-stitched endpoint

Advanced configuration: Support slate/fallback ads, Bumper ads and Non-linear ad formats

Analytics: Channel and ad-break level ad performance monitoring with 40+ metrics, custom KPIs and dashboards

Impact:

Launched in IPL’23 delivering 10bn+ Ad insertions across 6 regional channels, with P99 under100ms

Supported concurrency of 32Mn+ users delivering them personalized and targeted ads at scale

Built differentiated features like cohort based ad insertion, advanced prefetching, programmatic ad demand support etc to compete against industry veterans like AWS, Google DAI

Commercially launched the product onboarding Internal (JioTv. Jiotv+) and 3 other External publishers

  • Built a pricing cum rule engine to support automated, dynamic pricing for cancellation protection product
  • Built a customer level asset profile to power use-cases like "simplified purchase experience", "Upselling other categories"
  • Replaced call center with a chat based "help & support" feature for purchase journey with customer feedback mechanism

Group Insurance

  • Launched new travel insurance product with simplified purchase and claim experience; Achieved 5% incr. in orders
  • Built a platform to support selling of multiple micro-insurance products like dengue, corona etc.
