Smart Traffic Violation & Fine Management System

Developed a web-based system to automate detection, fine generation, and payment of traffic violations. The system enables police officers to upload violations with evidence, automatically calculates fines, and provides citizens with an online portal for fine viewing, payment, and appeals. The project improves transparency, reduces administrative overhead, and enhances compliance through real-time notifications and reporting dashboards.

Responsibilities:

• Developed responsive frontend interfaces using React.js, HTML, CSS integrated with backend services via Axios and implemented secure role-based authentication/authorization using JWT & bcrypt.
• Designed and implemented backend REST APIs using Node.js and a normalized MySQL database schema to manage users, vehicles, violations, fines, payments, and appeals
• Documented system design, database schema, and deployment process to ensure maintainability.
