1. Financial Accounting & Operations
- Managed end-to-end accounting function including AP, AR, GL, fixed assets, and bank/intercompany reconciliations, ensuring accurate financial records.
- Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closures, including provisions, accruals, and ledger scrutiny.
- Maintain accuracy of books, strong documentation practices, and robust audit trails while enforcing internal accounting policies and controls.
2. Financial Reporting, MIS & Planning
- Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and variance analysis, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to management.
- Supported CFO in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning through scenario analysis and cost optimization initiatives.
- Develop dashboards and KPIs to track business performance and provide actionable insights.
3. Taxation & Regulatory Compliance
- Handle end-to-end direct and indirect taxation (GST, TDS, Income Tax), including filings, reconciliations, and compliance.
- Manage tax assessments, notices, and litigation support in coordination with consultants.
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act, IFRS and IGAAP requirements, and other applicable regulations, while tracking changes in laws.
4.Audit, Assurance & Controls
- Lead and coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits, acting as the primary SPOC for auditors.
- Ensure timely closure of audit deliverables, preparation of schedules, and resolution of audit queries.
- Strengthen internal control frameworks and ensure continuous audit readiness.
5.Accounting Standards & Financial Conversions
- Ensure compliance with Indian GAAP and IFRS.
- Manage conversion of financial statements between IFRS and Indian GAAP, including identification of differences and preparation of reconciliation statements.
- Align financial reporting with group or investor requirements, if applicable.
6.Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Management
- Act as the central point of contact for auditors, tax consultants, company secretaries, and legal advisors, ensuring smooth coordination and timely deliverables.
- Collaborate with sales and business teams on invoicing, revenue recognition, collections tracking, and resolving commercial or client-related finance matters.
7.Treasury & Working Capital Management
- Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital, ensuring efficient utilization of funds.
- Drove improvements in receivables and payables cycles while managing banking relationships to optimize cash flow.
- Oversee payment planning, fund flows, and treasury-related activitiesanage end to end Accounts Payable and Procure to Pay cycles, including invoice processing, vendor master maintenance, payments, and month end closing.
- Process PO & Non PO invoices, GR/IR entries, and perform 2way/3way matching.
- Validate invoices, resolve discrepancies, manage credit notes, and clear aging items.
- Respond to vendor queries via calls/emails and support AP helpdesk operations.
- Generate and analyze AP operational reports; liaise with the Payments team.
- Handle payment rejections, refunds, and returns as per defined protocols.
- Conduct regular vendor statement vs. ledger reconciliations.
- Support internal/external audits with relevant documentation.
- Monitor workflow volumes, record completed tasks, and escalate issues when required.
- Utilize SAP for invoice processing, reversals, and AP related T codes.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
