- Built and tested eNomination feature which was developed as part of Manulife’s Customer Website System (CWS). This feature enabled policyholders to digitally assign and manage nominees for their insurance policies. This feature streamlined the nomination process by allowing users to assign nominees for multiple policies simultaneously, replacing manual procedures with a seamless digital solution. To ensure transparency and timely action, the feature also includes a robust notification system. Regular emails are sent to users, nominees, and signatories, keeping them informed about the status of the nomination process and highlighting any pending actions. As a part of this feature we had to develop API's that could fire and handle requests/ responses concurrently for better performance.
- Migrated services from Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), ensuring seamless performance and scalability for environments across Singapore, Hong Kong, and the Philippines. Migration tasks included configuring Kubernetes pods tailored for service-specific requirements across multiple environments (DEV, SIT, UAT, PROD).
- Transformed a legacy CoBOL-based insurance system into a microservices-based architecture using Spring Boot and MyBatis (ORM framework), deployed on Azure Cloud
