Wireless power transfer (WPT) system for electric vehicles (EVs), the system uses
Resonant inductive coupling enables contactless energy transfer from a transmitter pad to a receiver coil on the EV The main objective is to provide an efficient, safe, and convenient charging solution that can be integrated into future smart cities. The prototype's hardware components include an Arduino microcontroller, solar panels, a solar charge controller, a keypad, an RFID reader, an LCD display, and wireless charging modules. This low-cost prototype proves the feasibility of WPT, highlighting its benefits such as reduced mechanical wear and a lower risk of electric shock compared to traditional plug-in systems.
