Accomplishments
- SCHOLARSHIP: I got an academic scholarship in my 2nd year of graduation for my consistent academic performance.
- INDUSTRIAL TRAINING: I did my first industrial trainings in Taneja Aerospace and Aviation limited (TAAL) & METALLO PRODUCTS both in manufacturing. Both trainings gave me techno-commercial insights of the relevant business.
- KONVOLVE: I participated in a multi-disciplinary, inter-college competition where we designed and built a cost effective air cooling jacket which is cost-effective for daily wage labourers and rickshaw pullers. We got the third prize.
- BUCK BERRISH: I also participated in a techno-management event wherein we had to do market research in order to understand a certain customer segment and come up with an innovative product that we could market and sell at a competitive prize.
- CANSAT 2013, USA- I led a team of 10 people to CANSAT, an international competition organized by American Aeronautical Society at Burkett, Texas. The team came 9th in the competition globally. I got to hone my people's skills and at the same learnt to be a team player.
- Research Day 2012: I presented a research paper on an innovative concept to design an emergency response system in case the engine or any part of an aircraft catches fire. The paper came 2nd.I learnt how to think as a researcher and at the same time come up with practically viable solutions.
- Roll of Honour 2018: Received a certificate for academic achievements at UQ.
- Tutorship award: Received a distinguished teaching award for my services as a tutor.
