Client: BP (British Petroleum).
1. Name: BP Lab; (April 2024 - June 2024) -
- Description: Functional testing on IoT devices, such as POS (Point of Sale).
- Roles and Responsibilities:
- As a lab service engineer, I have knowledge of the POS and retail domain, focusing on maintaining point-of-sale systems that streamline transactions and inventory management.
- I worked on integrating hardware components like barcode scanners and receipt printers with software solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- My work involved ensuring secure and seamless payment processing, managing product catalogs, and implementing customer loyalty programs.
2. Name: BP - Castrol Sustain Applications; (July 2024 - Current):
- Description: Development and support work for two applications (Formscape, Marine PA).
i. Formscape:
- I am working as a developer on the Formscape application under this project.
- Formscape is an application that converts XMLs to PDFs using a transformation tool for both the AIR business and the Marine business. As long as I have worked in this application, I have been very meticulous and focused on the tasks assigned to me.
- Clients confidently trust me to perform intricate and complex tasks and get quality output every time.
- Provided clients with supreme customer service and worked collaboratively to meet their needs.
- Ensured all issues were resolved, and tickets were closed in compliance with SLA commitments.
II. Marine PA:
- Acted as an individual contributor by implementing and supporting multiple client applications, including Marine Lubes, PPM, data load, and the admin tool.
- Provided end-to-end support for application issues, service requests, and enhancements.
- Developed and implemented a hyperlink for the application web page.
- Managing backend operations, frontend support, and database maintenance using SQL.
- Monitored system performance, identified vulnerabilities, and applied security patches regularly to ensure system stability.
- Worked on optimizing configurations for improved performance in SQL environments.
- Ensured all issues were resolved, and tickets were closed in compliance with SLA commitments.
