Worked as a Solution Architect leading a team of 3 developers and 2 SDETs. Delivered various new initiative under strict timelines using Golang as primary technology functioning with help of S3, DynamoDB, SFTP, CloudWatch, Kafka, GlueLowCode, AWS Timestream, Grafana, Prometheus, Lambda and others.

Projects

• Cache File Generator - Application which outputs prices for selected hotels under various search criteria over duration of next 9-12 months. This translates to 7000 searches per hotel everyday without optimization. Also implemented an extrapolation engine which helped reduce searches to only 450-500 searches per hotel per day. Added 12 new API clients grossing $100k GTV everyday
• Push Based API - Multi-tenant application which detects the changes in inventory like price changes, promotion changes, availability changes etc. and pushes this information across to multiple clients. This flow removes the need for Search API and is primarily used by tech houses serving tour operators. Scaled system to 120 bookings/day i.e. $60k GTV/day
• Room Mapping - Intelligent and adaptive application to fetch rooms for a single hotel from multiple suppliers and then group them into unique rooms. This grouping helps in deduplication of the rooms on tbo.com portal making sure only relevant rooms are shown from the cheapest supplier. System ran at 99.9% Accuracy with 82% Coverage resulting in L2B improvement of 12% i.e. from 8% to 9%.

Lead a team of 7 (5 developers + 2 SDET) focusing on improving customer acquisition funnel at the very top for all line of businesses (LoBs). This was achieved using React Native and ReachJS on Frontend and Java SpringBoot, MongoDB, Aerospike, SolaceMQ in backend among others.

Projects

• OmniWidget - Multi-Platform (iOS, Android, Web) Fully Configurable Client Side UI rendering engine, used for checking serviceability across LoBs and products. Powerful enough to modify user journey on the fly, without need of a deployment. Rapid experimentation helps improve Visit-To-Lead ratio from 9% to 12%
• SAFO - Multi LoB Online Order Journey for new customer acquisition in Broadband, DTH, Postpaid and Prepaid SIM connections. Improved the website performance (median pageLoad time) from 7.5s to 2.2s
• Airtel Black - Bundling Platform which bundles Broadband, Postpaid and DTH into a single account. First-hand contributor in product growing from 100K Black Accounts to 7M+ Black Accounts.

Designed a generic API Gateway and boilerplate in various languages till the time an actual contract was signed.

Helped implement CatalogONE as a full stack developer employing ReactJS for Frontend and SpringBoot Java, Core Java for backend. Deployed using Dockerised Images on Openshift Environment.

Projects

• CatalogONE : Product focused on simplifying the life of telecom providers like AT&T, Vodafone etc. by giving them easy and intuitive platform to define complex pricing rules with ease on data/voice/SMS usage. This was industry first and brought in $10M in additional revenue in very first year.
