PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Personal Insurance (PI) deals with individuals' home insurance, auto insurance, travel insurance, etc. As part of PI, we are responsible for creating a new policy for an individual, renewing a policy for an individual, or canceling a policy for an individual.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Contributed to API design and development for services leveraging Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, and the Jest Framework on an offshore team.
• Involved in the end-to-end architecture during the development phase and responsible for creating Microservices.
• Developed and exposed REST APIs by creating routers in the Express.js Framework. Implemented Token-Based Authentication for API security.
• Gained valuable experience integrating MongoDB with Express.js, using Robo 3T for efficient database management and querying.
• Skilled at crafting unit tests with Jest Framework in Node.js.
• Demonstrated strong knowledge of deployment strategies, leveraging tools like Jenkins, UCD, and PCF for continuous integration and deployment.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

This capability enables customers to either accept or reject quotes, and convert them into orders. Customers will have the option to send quotes for services or products via email. Upon receiving the quote, customers can directly accept it, transforming it into an order.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and manage server-side components to ensure the application runs efficiently and scales well.
• Design and deploy high-performance applications that meet both user and system requirements.
• Integrate server-side logic with user-facing components built by front-end developers, ensuring seamless functionality.
• Incorporate data protection and cybersecurity measures to safeguard sensitive data and maintain privacy standards.
• Optimize database and front-end requests to ensure maximum performance and responsiveness of the application.
• Collaborate within an Agile development team to deliver high-quality applications and services in iterative cycles.
• Propose improvements to daily tasks and processes, and actively apply solutions to enhance team productivity.
• Identify and implement data storage solutions, ensuring effective data handling and retrieval.
• Perform diagnostic tests, fix bugs, and provide technical support to ensure smooth operation and user satisfaction.
