Securities trade processing supports a series of applications to enable middle office and clearance and settlement functions of the firm. It handles post execution functions and clearance and settlement of trades.

Responsibilities:

• Worked actively with team members to analyze and resolve application issues.
• Running, Monitoring, Analyzing and Handling Jobs using Autosys.
• Identified defects, discrepancies and trends by ways of code debugging or log analysis.
• Managed incidents and effectively communicate with users, application owners and senior stakeholders across all areas.
• Trade investigation requested by operations by analyzing the trade flow, analyzing logs, database tables and code logic to provide solution to users.
• Improving application stability and performance by observing patterns, recurring failures and advice application owners on permanent fix.
• Identify alerts /User tickets that can be automated and coordinate with various teams to complete the automation.
• Good communication skills with ability to articulate the technical and functional aspects of a production problem to help drive solutions with Appdev teams and senior stakeholders.
• Build and improve run books for generalists to minimize operational errors and gain efficiency
• Performed override on existing scripts to fix the critical issues whenever required.
• Developing SQL queries to generate reports requested by various operations teams for audit purpose.
• Participated in DB migration activities and RHEL upgrade activities.
• Planning, timely executing and modifying execution scripts and coordinating with Appdev for BCP activities.
• Training and conducting KT sessions for new joiners.
