Food Microbiology :
Isolation and screening of Citric acid, amylase, protease, antibiotics.
Study about pasteurization, sterilization, fermentation etc.
Production of Fermented food (Kimchi and Wine).
Plant Sanitation :
Determination 0f BOD and COD, Coliform MPN test and Hardness of Water.
Study about GMP, GLP, HACCAP, TQM, different Allergens etc
Processing of Fish, Meat, Poultry and Dairy
Study of Anatomy and dressing.
Practical experience in preparation of indigenous products .
Hands on experience in adulteration test of dairy.
Cereals, legumes and spices:
Extraction of oils , oleoresins and steam distillation of different spices
Study of cooking quality of different cereals and legumes.
Preparation of value-added products.
Processing of Fruits , vegetables and Beverages:
Practical experience in Dehydration of fruits and vegetables (dries onion, guava leather).
Preparation of Jam, Jelly, Sauce, Puree, Ketchup etc.
Determination of Brix , pH, acidity etc
Preparation of carbonated and non-alcoholic beverages like Nector, Squash, juice.
Study about working of Spray Drier.
Sensory and Packaging:
Training on different types of sensory testing like Duo-Trio, Paired comparison , Difference test and Triangle test.
Determination of Color (Colorimeter) , Texture /(Texture Profile Analyzer).
Study of different packaging materials and Test like Compression test, Bursting strength , Tear resistance, Tensile strength , Vacuum leak test etc.

Lab:
1. Proficiently handles lab equipments like pH meter, Refractometer, Soxhelet apparatus, Muffle furnace, hot air oven, spectrophotometer, colorimeter , microscope, Autoclave, Laminar air flow etc.
