Responsibilities in Current Role:-

1- Review of SOR & Technical documents shared by PPM.
2. Prepare RFQ and share with vendors & ensure NSA with SQE.
3. Selection of Vendor selection based on Cost, Quality & Technical ability.
4. Controlling all development activities with vendors keeping Project timelines in Mind.
5. Evaluation, Selection & Approval of New Supplier.
6. Cost reduction through 4 BOX approaches i.e. VAVE/BCC/Localization/Re-sourcing.
7. YOY Cost reduction settlement over parts, Monthly monitoring capacity & Commodity trends.
8. Systematic Problem analysis and problem resolution with problem solving tools like 3G and poka-yoke.
9. Managing inventory effectively to maintain sufficient stock levels to meet production requirements.
10. Development of Long lead time items through EVI (Early Vendor Involvement) approach.
11. In addition to this also leading/tracking Cost reduction drive for purchasing function.

12- Actively engagement & co-ordination with CFT for closure critical quality issue.

Responsible for :-

1- Purchase & regular follow up of Electrical components (E.g. Wiring harness, head lamp, tail lamp, All Type of switches etc,) proprietary parts for Machines.
2 -Supplier identification, selection and evaluation.
3- Sending RFQ, receiving quotes, making comparison sheets, costing and negotiation, price finalization, releasing tooling and part P.O.
4-Visits at supplier end to review development activity as per plan.
5-Establish process and closure of PPAP.
6-Cost Reduction activities using 4 Box tool.
7-Capacity calculation of the line for mass production.

• Responsible for:-
• Purchasing of Electrical components (Wiring harness, head lamp, tail lamp, starter motor, wiper motor) proprietary parts for engine, and 3W.
• Supplier identification, selection and evaluation.
• Sending RFQ, receiving quotes, making comparison sheets, costing and negotiation, price finalization, releasing tooling and part P.O.
• Suppliers visit to ensure development activity as per plan.
• Ensuring PPAP closure within project timelines.
• Cost Reduction activities using VA/VE..
• Planning for material availability as per production plan with inventory management.
