             TO ANALYSIS AND CONTROL OF HEIGHT AND SURFACE ROUGHNESS VARIATION IN ENCLOSURE USING SIX SIGMA 

DESCRIPTION : 

                           To  control variation in height from 74.75mm to 75.25mm and surface roughness from 0.3micron to 1.2 micron in enclosure (SS-304). In this limit is achieve to make 10 trial in CNC machine and measure the 10 sample in height gauge and micrometer. Using six sigma methodology for improving the process capability CPK=1 by reducing variation in height and surface roughness achieve cost productivity and maintaining quality requirements.
To define, measure, analyse, improve, control (DMAIC) process is a data driven quality strategy used to improve processes. The letters in the acronym represent the five phases that make up the process, including the tools to use to complete those phases .It is a integral part of a six sigma initiative, but in general can be implemented as a standalone quality improvement procedure or as part other process improvement initiative such as lean.
