Storage Management: Managing the logical storage (tablespaces) as well as the disk level storage
which holds the database data and if requirement takes necessary actions to increase or housekeep
the storage.
Backup & Recovery: To ensure the database backups are completing without issues, work on
troubleshooting for any issues and to recover the database to the point in time from the backups in
case of any necessary.
Patching : Latest RU patch application on the in scope supported databases.
Hands on experience and troubleshooting issues on the standalone and RAC level administration of
databases.
Upgrading the databases from older versions to latest versions and migrating their data.
Good knowledge on the Oracle Enterprise Manager tool which is used for monitoring and managing
the databases.
Good hands on with database maintenance activities such as Archiving/purging, storage
fragmentation, index rebuild, performance tuning, patching of database.
