We do background checks of the authors whether they are first-time authors or experienced ones and determine the way to communicate with the authors and guide them through the various stages in production.
We do a pre-delivery typescript assessment¸ scheduling for copyediting¸ typesetting¸ proofreading¸ artwork creation¸ indexing¸ and communication with authors¸ managing permissions and creating jackets processes. We also work with the client's freelance copy editors/indexers.
Preparing reports and to maintain a database of all the reviews on the project and organize a regular monthly conference call with the Editorial Manager at the publisher's end.
