• Development of Plant and Unit Layout in 2D/3D environment in close collaboration with other technical Disciplines.
• 3D Modelling of Equipment's (Static & Rotary) such as Heat exchangers, Boilers, Vessels (Horizontal & Vertical), Pumps, Compressors as per Mechanical Data Sheet (MDS), Process Data Sheet (PDS) & Level Sketch as per Equipment Layout.
• Design the routing of piping lines and equipment modelling according to P&ID.
• Extraction and Labelling of GAD (General Arrangement Drawing).
• Extraction of Pipe Isometric drawings from model for IFC and checking as per PID, Line list PMS, VMS.
• Extraction of MTO (Material Take Off) from Model as well as manually from PID & piping layout and cross checking the same with supporting documents.
• Nozzle orientations for vessel and column.
• Model Reviewing using Autodesk Navisworks Manage & SPR (Smart Plant Review).
• Pipe support modelling and placing support as per support standard & stress mark-up isometrics.
• Provide piping input to Process Piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID).
• Extraction of VUE/RVM from model and converting it to Navisworks and SPR.
• Participation in 3D model reviews (30%,60% & 90% model completion) and preparing tag closure review report.
• Coordination with other designers for inputs and comments.
• Interact with Clients & Senior Design Engineers regarding quality, standards and In-time completion of projects.
• Organize and prioritize Design activities and Submission of deliverables in an effective and Timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines.

• -Drawing the Plan and Elevations of the Projects Using Auto Cad and then Creating rendered images of the project using 3DsMax along with V-Ray.
• Designing and re-configuring the product according to customer specifications. Handling priority calls by prepares the design files pro-actively using Solidworks and AutoCad.

• Modelled custom products in Solidworks and AutoCad with respect to customer requirements, part drawings and isometric drawings of the equipments.
• Proactively provided the part drawings to the laser cutting department, so that it can cut the parts out from the metal sheets.

• -Maintenance of rotating equipment : Breakdown and Preventive maintenance, Predictive maintenance of static equipment such as valves, heat exchangers, tanks, vessels and rotary equipment like pumps, compressors.
• Inspection Section : As a part of In-service Inspection, Condition monitoring of rotary equipment(SPM and Vibration Analysis), Thickness survey of static equipment, Sound level Monitoring and Temperature survey using Thermal imaging, Repair an Maintenance of static equipment such as Distillation Columns, Heat Exchanger, Pressure Vessels and Piping. Assisted in Storage Tank calibration.
• Participated and assisted in various shutdown activities in heat exchanger maintenance and testing as well as the column tray inspection, maintenance and installation.
• Planning Section : Planning of works and materials, Scheduling of works and revising P&I Diagram.
• Central Workshop: Structural and Fabrication Works, Welding, Cutting and Machining jobs, Part drawing in CAD Software.
• Utility Department: Operation and Maintenance of Utility Plants Such as: Boiler, Cooling Towers, Lubricated and Non Lubricated Reciprocating Air Compressors, De-mineralized Water Treatment Plant, Raw Water Treatment Plant having Hopper bottom tank, Chlorinator, Pressure sand filter, Finally, Unloading and transfer of fuel oil to boiler, captive power plant and fired heater in main plant.

• Worked as a Supervisor for 1.5 years under a consultant company for BPCL - Kochi Refinery.
• I attended daily meetings with the Engineers and Managers of BPCL regarding identification and inspection of worksite, nature of work to be performed, negotiate with the clients regarding the deadline of the daily task, if an emergency job needed to be attend to and finally allocation of technicians.
