- Designed and drafted the framework of the categorization of work for the People with Disabilities (depending upon the impairment of the People with Disabilities), on the basis of which the Inclusion of People with Disabilities into NREGA (National Rural Employment Guarantee Act) would be carried out. This framework was well accepted and appreciated at different forums and was put into the NREGA guidelines.
- Lead the Organization’s (Ashagram Trust, Barwani) effort in promoting, bringing awareness and including the Persons with Mental illness and Disability in the NREGS, based on which the Organisation was felicitated with National Awareness Award for the year 2008.
- Instrumental in forming and consolidating the district level Disable Peoples Organisation and linking with the State Level Organisation for larger impact in MP state.
