Summary

I am a Youth Development Professional and Kidstop Site Assistant currently working at the Boys & Girls Club in Valparaiso, Indiana. I have several years of experience working with children, ranging in age, from early childhood, to adolescence. I am seeking to expand my role at the Boys and Girls Club, in which I may continue to engage in and enrich the lives of children, and help guide other staff members to do the same. My goal is to help children begin to emotionally and mentally develop into the well-rounded people that they all have the potential to be. It is my belief that all children can make something of themselves, and go on to have a happy and fulfilling lives, if they are shown the following things: they are loved and cared for, their feelings matter, they have value, and they have something constructive to contribute to society.
