• Harborside 4, NJ - It is a 60-storey structure spanning a 1.3-acre plot in New Jersey. The building is mainly for mixed-use purposes. The building is a flat slab structure with RCC walls and outriggers as lateral force-resisting members. The building consists of a 9-floor podium, an L-shaped building to the 39th floor and one wing above the 39th floor. Key responsibilities were preparation of the ETABS model from the architectural plans and elevations, performing different iterations for the optimization of the thickness of walls, link beams and outriggers and design of shear walls, link beams and outriggers.
• The Commodore, 175 Park Avenue, NY - The commodore is a 93-storey structure to be built over the Grand Central Station in New York. The building is mainly for official and hotel purposes. The structural system of the building has concrete shear walls with moment frames at the periphery along with steel outriggers at multiple floors. Key responsibilities were preparation of the ETABS model as per the new geometry received from the architect and the study of the impact on the performance of the building. Also, I designed the steel columns, beams, outriggers and trusses.
• AOR Hotel, 740 8th Avenue, NY - It is a 63-storey building with 40 regular office floors and a restaurant at the top 9 floors with 10 floors independent core from 42nd to 52nd floor which supports a swing. The structural system consists of shear walls and flat slabs. The structure above the 52nd floor is made of steel. Key responsibilities were construction sequence analysis of the model as per the construction sequence received from the contractor, design of shear walls, link beams and outriggers and study of various mechanical and electrical openings needed.
• Dual Brand Hotel, NJ - Dual Brand Hotel is a 40-storey hospitality structure. The structural system consists of a steel frame until the 9th floor and a concrete flat slab system for the rest of the floors. There are several pickup columns on the 9th floor which transfers the load through steel trusses. Key responsibilities were the calculation of trusses for the loads from transfer columns, preparation of the ETABS model for the calculation of steel members and design of steel members in ETABS.
• 2320 Broadway, NY - 2320 Broadway is a 19-storey building with multiple residential and mechanical floors and an 8-storey podium. It has multiple transfer floors and beams. Key responsibilities were the preparation of SAFE models for all the floors, preparation of deflection and punching check reports using SAFE and in-built Excel sheets and preparation of rebar markups for the rebar detailing.
• Drammen Helsepark, Drammen, Norway - Drammen Helse Park is the Norwegian government's most prestigious project consisting of office spaces, a hospital, a school, a hotel and a residence. The project spreads over 20000 m2 with 4 different buildings of a maximum of 14 stories including a basement. Key responsibilities were preparing analysis models for all the buildings including seismic and wind analysis and designing the basement structure of all 4 parts of the projects and putting 3D reinforcement in Revit.
