Mail Relay Scripts

• Used Python programming language to create a automated programming script to check if any the Mail relay servers had messages queued up and also clears the queue. This resulted in no mails being undelivered on the mail servers and mails that caused blockages were dropped
• Programmed a Python script to collect all exception policies from relay servers and analyze if the all the servers had same policies to ensure the correct set of policies are maintained on all servers. The script caught the policies and alerted the engineer via Mail.
• Worked on Day 1 readiness for ford new employees whose email IDs had to be registered so that they can send mail as soon as possible. Used Python programming language to create an automated script that registered new employees on mail relay servers and deleted record of IDs that were no longer part of ford. This helped in ford employers being able to send mails as soon as they join the company and also eliminate unwanted mail IDs in servers.

Authenticated Mail Relay.

• Ford Has internal applications for several functions. These applications must be registered with the domain and IP. This allows these applications to use the SMTP over TLS feature to send mails. These have username and password.
• Automated the process of registering the applications by creating a front-end portal and used API with C# to connect to the Google cloud Database (Postgres sql) and backend Mail relay servers. It also generated the username and password for Authentication. This reduced manual time to register new applications or make modifications to old.
• The automation increased the efficiency of registering new applications.

• Interned at Ford with the Exchange team
• Created a script that used MAPI to convert plain text report on Outlook to an excel format using Python which resulted in better audit of server related details.

• Internship with Foxmula associated with Microsoft
• Learnt to Implement IPsec which helped in concepts related to VPN, implement DNS Concept, OSI model, Exploits, and worked on Virtual Machines.
