- The study aimed to assess the knowledge, attitude, and preventive practice toward tuberculosis and assess the Anti-TB medication adherence level among Tuberculosis patients.
- The study revealed a lack of knowledge about tuberculosis (TB) among the participants in the targeted area.
- Only 2% of individuals were aware of drug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB).
- Merely 5% had heard of directly observed treatment (DOT).
- None of the surveyed patients had participated in TB awareness programs.
- Participants with poor KAP levels were more likely to exhibit poor adherence to TB medication.
