TCS - IoT enabled Remote Monitoring of Commercial Coolers (2019): Our customer (a leading Consumer Electronics player in India) wanted TCS to conduct a PoC for IoT enabled Remote Monitoring of Commercial Coolers across India. Our team visited Delhi to attach EDGE devices on commercial coolers across Kirana stores in Delhi. The EDGE devices were then used to communicate essential cooler parameters to a cloud platform using 2G communication for monitoring and action. The project was successful and TCS could demonstrate how key health parameters could be remotely captured over a cloud platform from commercial coolers across India.
