The PPM project (Industry : Insurance) is a major Marsh Operational Excellence program aiming to digitalize and modernize Placement and Policy Management(PPM) capabilities in order to deliver superior service to Marsh clients, improve colleague experience and productivity, free business capacity and drive operational cost reduction, increase investment capacity and effectively manage risks The PPM application is created in Unqork for use by internal Marsh users so that they can record and manage the placement and policy servicing processes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Authored and maintained well-organized, efficient and successful manual test cases.
• Collaborated with the product owners and development team to promptly address and resolve any issues that arose with respect to product features and intended functionality.
• Collaborated with the development team efficiently by following the shift left approach on multiple occasions, to identify issues early and ensure a cleaner code.
• Improved product reliability by executing rigorous test plans and ensuring software met established requirements.
• Defect reporting and tracking in JIRA. Reported over 400+ defects with defect validity of 94%.
• Enhanced software quality by conducting thorough testing and identifying areas for improvement.
• Reported progress, test metrics and results to project stakeholders.
• Participated in regular meetings with cross-functional teams to discuss progress updates, communicate concerns or challenges, and ensured alignment to project goals.
• Operated under Agile methodology to complete releases and well-organized sprints.
• Conducted various sessions including demo of the tested functionality to stakeholders.

The project was related to an infotainment system by Honda R&D Americas. It supported various features like navigation, phone (Hands-free, A2DP), car play, android auto, voice recognition etc. Honda as an independent system validation partner and would primarily be involved in the program for performing system validation of the front control box(FCB) covering tests such as functional, regression, smoke, sanity, long haul tests

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Test-case development and validation of the Honda infotainment system.
• Analysis of software requirements and preparation/review of test cases.
• Manual execution of test cases. Test result reporting and analysis.
• Defect reporting and postfix analysis.
• Functional and HMI requirement analysis, test case design and defect management.
