As a Career counsellor my responsibilities are:

• Administer personality and interest inventories
• Advise students about what courses and educational programs they need for particular careers
• Aid students in the job search process by teaching them where to look for open positions and connecting them with job search resources
• Counsel students who are considering a career change
• Evaluate students' educational and work backgrounds in order to help them determine what they need to do next to achieve their goals
• Help students select the right schools or programs for their needs
• Help students locate sources of financial support to pay for school and other training programs
• Teach job-search skills such as interviewing, resume writing, and networking and help students practice them
• Use achievement tests and aptitude tests to help students get a better idea of what they're good at

Responsibilities as marketing manager :

Strategy development and planning of campaigns that can promote the business and generate genuine traffic (both offline and online)

• Implementation of the marketing campaigns right from ideation to final analysis and refinement
• Building sustainable relationships and partnerships with other key players such such as vendors, advertising agencies, and creative artists as per the need.

Here are some key responsibilities and functions :

Job Analysis and Requisition Creation: Conducting job analyses to identify the skills, qualifications, and experience needed for the role. Based on this information, recruiters create detailed job requisitions to be used for posting job openings.

Sourcing Candidates: Posting job ads on job boards, social media platforms, and company websites. Using networking, employee referrals, and recruitment agencies to source candidates. The goal is to build a diverse pool of qualified applicants.

Screening and Interviewing: Review applications, resumes, and cover letters to shortlist candidates who meet the job requirements. Conducting initial interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit. Evaluate the candidate's communication skills and suitability for the role.

Facilitating the Interview Process: Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates, hiring managers, or interview panels.

Background Checks and References: Conduct background checks and verify candidate references to ensure the accuracy of the information provided and assess the candidate's credibility.

Job Offer and Negotiation: Assisting in salary negotiations and ensure that the candidate's expectations align with the organization's compensation packages.
