I'm part of the Customer Remediation Analytics (CRA) team, which focuses on rectifying issues related to customer data, ensuring regulatory compliance, and rebuilding trust after incidents or mistakes.

• This team typically handles tasks like updating customer information, addressing regulatory concerns, and potentially compensating customers for harm caused by past events.
• Aligned more specifically into remediation activities for Commercial Banking, Corporate and Investment Banking line of business. Actively worked on three remediation's till date.
• The efforts contributed from my remediation team, had led to the termination of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau's (CFPB) 2018 consent order related to its compliance risk management program.

Leading the SAS GUI team and delivering the business requirements.

• The scope of SAS GUI team is to develop SAS GUI tables with data and the respective validation rules needed in the target structure. With the help of SAS GUI, user can interact with the tables available of CAS Server (using SAS VA objects) and transfer the data to the target SQL server. Served as point of contact for clients regarding follow-up, meeting scheduling, and responses to questions.

Project 1: IDP Project (SAS Decommissioning) - Abbvie

Analyzing existing SAS codes and providing the required details, to the Big data resources, for their development work.

• Purpose of this IDP (Intelligence Decision Platform) project is to convert the existing model of report creation from SAS (using Teradata as the database) to Big Data (Hadoop as the data source).
• Volunteered to convert the SAS codes to Hive queries for one of the franchises and did the same with perfection.

Project 2: CRA Reporting - Barclays Corp

Creating reports that contain the account level details of SME’s as of month end, to the Credit Referral Agencies.

• Creating monthly reports, as per the format mentioned by the CRA’s and as per the requirement given by Business.

I was part of the Batch team under Defined Contribution majorly (retirement planning service offered by the organization), that will assist in designing and evaluating employee benefit programs for a wide range of clients.

Project 1: Query Optimization - State Of California
Reviewing the Queries/SAS that have taken longer CPU time and taking appropriate actions in order to reduce the CPU time.

• We found a long-running report generating Query which had several left joins and sub selects where fine-tuning a query wouldn't be fruitful.
• I've converted the Query into a SAS and have fine-tuned it ,which yielded a effective utilization of CPU time by reducing it to 2% of actual time consumed(saved 98% of CPU Time).

Project 2: Billing Attestation - Allianz Group
Configure and code the jobs based on the analysis provided from client side , and implementing an ongoing process.

• Implemented an automated process so that client’s participant counts query is run monthly and sent to DW team.

Project 3: Conversion In Project - Adventist Health Care
Retirement Plan
Configure and code the jobs based on the analysis provided from client side , and load the data into TBA system.

• Group of population from Lincoln got converted into AHRP. The challenge was to load the data sent by Lincoln to AON's system TBA. This is because the data sent was in a different format, that is usually sent from AHRP. So this required the mapping of the plans/funds/accounts etc., and load both the indicative and asset part.

Project 4: Fund Liquidation - Minnesota Mining and
Manufacturing Company
Configure and code the jobs based on the analysis provided from client side , and load the data into TBA system. Also created reports based on client requirements and was responsible for this entire project.

• 3M decided to liquidate some of the funds and transfer the amount to their default funds. This involves creating complex reports and creating transactions to transfer the amounts from the impacted funds to the default funds.

Other Projects:
Handled Annual Enrollment (part of Health benefits) for three years for the client First American, Securitas and Mattel which involved several months of processing and gathering the changing requirements on timely basis and working upon as needed.
• Handled several one-time and ongoing report generation which involved critical deadlines and complex coding logics by adhering to SDLC methodology.
• Handled a complex acquisition project from scratch which involved adding of new company codes, participants and their related data to an ongoing client.
