- Company Overview: Working as a business analyst for Citi Bank within Genpact, I was part of the DCRM (Data Concern Remediation Management) supporting Data Owners, Data Consumers intended to remediate data concerns which arise from enterprise data not meeting quality requirements
- Main responsibilities included analyzing if a newly logged data concern is/related to an existing data concern/issue
- Conducting a Root Cause Analysis which determines the Break Point for Remediation
- Defects identified in this process will answer 'What' is broken, 'where' the break occurred, and the underlying Root Cause, the 'Why' of the occurrence
- Documenting the details of RCA by Recursive Data Transformation review and determine the Root causes of defects
- Identifying potential preventive measures, tactical and/or strategic system for fixes
- Conducting detailed Impact Analysis (financial as well as materiality impact)
- Improving Data Quality rules including Data Construct, Critical Data Element, Rule registration in Collibra, scripting business rules, collaborating with Technology to implement Rules, Testing implementation of rules
