Accomplishments

  • Established a strong research profile through significant contributions to organic electronics, functional materials, and perovskite solar cells by securing over ₹2.89 crore in competitive research funding from the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Vision Group on Science and Technology (VGST), and JAIN (Deemed-to-be University). Published 81 peer-reviewed research articles, including numerous papers in high-impact Q1 journals, 18 review articles, 3 book chapters, and 2 Indian patents, with a research impact exceeding 1,270 citations, an h-index of 22, and an i10-index of 41. Recipient of the prestigious SERB Young Scientist Project and SERB Core Research Grant as Principal Investigator, with research recognized internationally through a Top Viewed Article (Wiley, 2025) and a publication contributing to the 2024 Journal Impact Factor™ of ACS Applied Energy Materials. Invited to deliver keynote and invited lectures at national and international conferences, while serving as an Associate Editor, Review Editor, and Editorial Board Member for international journals, and as a reviewer for leading publishers including ACS, Elsevier, Wiley, Springer Nature, Royal Society of Chemistry, and Taylor & Francis. Successfully supervised doctoral researchers, established international collaborations with leading research groups across Europe and Asia, and contributed to the advancement of interdisciplinary research through leadership in funded projects, conference organization, and scientific mentoring.

Teaching Experience

  • Possess over 12 years of post-Ph.D. teaching experience at the postgraduate and research levels. Have taught M.Sc. Chemistry, Ph.D., and Postdoctoral Fellow (PDF) students, delivering courses in Organic Chemistry I, Organic Chemistry II, Organic Chemistry III, and Medicinal Chemistry (Drug Design). In addition to classroom teaching, have conducted doctoral and postdoctoral coursework, mentoring research scholars in advanced concepts of organic synthesis, functional materials, medicinal chemistry, and research methodology. Committed to fostering critical thinking, research-oriented learning, and interdisciplinary problem-solving through a combination of lectures, laboratory training, seminars, and research supervision.
